Fire Department of New York

At 0842 hours, 11 September 2001 the alarm box 8087 was struck in Manhatten, Church and Vesey Streets, The World Trade Center. Of the hundreds who responded, 343 fireman, 2 FDNY Paramedics, 23 NYPD Officers, 37 NY/NJ Port Authority Police Officers and 3 New York City Court Officers did not come home. You are not forgotten. We dedicate this small corner of the world to you and to all of the New York City Firefighters, New York City Police Officers, New York/New Jersey Port Authority Police, and Paramedics, and all those who lost someone that day, we will remember.
The signal 5-5-5-5 has been sounded in your honor.
